Julie Sylvestre

Working in the healthcare management industry since 1986, Julie joined Comprehensive Practice Management (CPM) in 2002 as Director of Operations and took on full ownership of the company in 2018.

After Julie Sylvestre became the sole owner of CPM, her focus was to reposition the company for growth. In order to stand out in the industry on a national scale, CPM was rebranded as Grey Ledge Medical Management in June of 2019. The name and the logo signifies strength and stability, two features representing the company.

Julie has used her 20+ years of healthcare leadership to expand services offered to physician practices, making Grey Ledge Medical the “first call” for the many operational and financial issues experienced in a medical practice.

Outside of Grey Ledge Medical, Julie Sylvestre achieved her fellowship in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), the highest level of distinction in the medical practice management profession. In 2019, Julie completed Bryant University's Graduate Certification program in Innovative Healthcare Leadership. Julie is an alumni of the RI Goldman Sachs 10k Small Businesses program.

She is a nationally known speaker educating others on innovation, efficiency and leadership in healthcare within the revenue cycle and medical practice management processes.

Julie serves as Legislative Liaison for the Healthcare Leaders Association RI/MA (formerly the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Medical Group Management Association), providing communication and advocacy for medical practices in both states. She has also volunteered her time to the National MGMA’s healthcare leadership Mentor’s Program, providing insight and support to the next generation of healthcare executives.
